The friends of East Cowes Cemetery group has been set up to deliver the Lottery Heritage Initiative funded project to make environmental improvements for this largely disused cemetery. Research the history of some of those buried, catalogue some or all of the burial plots and produce information material from this research.
This website is being produced to publicise the project and as an integral tool to promote and research the history of the Cemetery and East Cowes as a whole.
The website has now grown quite considerably. All the latest additions can be seen below but there is now a section about all the different elements of the project (About Us Link), over 1300 entries in the database (Old Kingston Cemetery Link), a links section (Links) and a contact section that sends messages directly to the team (Contact Us Link).
